So here I am coming up with this recipe of Cheese Pav Bhaji......
Things that you will need are:

  2. Beetroot peeled – 1
  3. Green peas – 1 cup
  4. Water – 10 cups
  5. Capsicum (chopped)– 1 cup
  6. Green chilly – 4
  7. Tomatoes (chopped) – 2
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Butter 3 cubes/ 4 ½  tbsp
  10. Pav bhaji masala – 6 tbsp
  11. Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  12. Oil – 1 tbsp
  13. Onions (chopped) – 2
  14. Coriander leaves (chopped)
  15. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  16. Pav
  17. Cheese
Seems that you are ready with your ingredients....Now let us know how to make it.
In a pressure cooker, put 6 peeled potatoes, 1 peeled beetroot and a cup of green peas.
Cut potatoes and beetroot into 2 to 4 pcs.
Add sufficient amount of water so that it covers the vegetables.

Cover the cooker and wait upto 3 whistles.
After that, wait till the cooker gets cool and then remove the lid.
Drain all the vegetables, and keep green peas aside.
Mash the potatoes and beetroot till smooth.
You can add few green peas in this too.......
Once done, keep the mixture aside.
Place kadhai on gas (on medium flame), add one cup of chopped capsicum, 4 chopped green chillies and sauté well.....
Let it cook for some time and then add boiled green peas that we kept aside.
Mix well.
Add potatoes and beetroot mixture in it.
Mix again.
(TIP: We have used beetroot as it gives natural colour to our bhaji to avoid artificial food colours).
Add tomatoes to this mixture. Add salt to taste.
Add 2 cubes of butter. MIX MIX MIX.
Put 4 tbsp of pav bhaji masala and blend it into bhaji properly.
Add 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
Mix and keep the mixture aside.
In a kadhai, add 1 tbsp of oil and 1 cube of butter.
Add onions to them. Add salt and sauté well.
(Salt helps onions to cook quickly).
Add chopped coriander leaves.
Add 2 tbsp of pav bhaji masala and give it a mix.
Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice.
Add the potato mixture and mix properly.
Add 2 glasses of water. (You may add more or less as per your liking).
Mix well and let it boil.
Your BHAJI is ready.
Heat a tawa, add butter and heat pav on it.
Keep flipping it.
Your PAV is ready.
(TIP: For better taste of pav you can even add little bhaji in butter while heating on tawa.)
Serve PAV BHAJI in a plate with some chopped onion and lemon.
Garnish with grated cheese all over the bhaji.....
Your CHEESE PAV BHAJI is ready.....☺
