When you think about eating something sweet & spicy,
what’s that dish that comes into your mind??
Yesss, Dahi Vada!! That sweet dahi and spicy chutney on the
top…. Yumm😍😋
Today’s recipe is for making delicious dahi vadas at home….

First, get the ingredients assembled,
Red Chilli powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Tamarind chutney ½ Cup
Green chilli chutney ½ Cup
Water 2 ½ Cups
Dahi/ Curd 1 ½ Cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Soaked Urad dal 2 Cups
& Oil for frying…
Let’s begin the process,
Take the soaked Urad dal, grind it and make it into a paste
(keep it covered for about 1 hour).
After an hour, take the Urad dal paste out and add some salt
in it ( approx 1 tsp);
Add 1tsp each of red chilli powder and coriander powder; now
mix them well…
Once it turns into a smooth batter, it is ready to fry….
In a kadhai, add oil for frying the vadas; when the oil is
heated, add small portions of vadas in it carefully… [SECRET: You can use Ice-cream

Fry until they turn golden brown….. After that remove in a
plate
Now, take water in a bowl and mix a pinch of salt in it. Add
the vadas in it & keep for about 15 minutes.
Till then, let’s prepare dahi mix… In a bowl, put dahi and
add sugar in it. Mix it till sugar dissolves.
Take the vadas now and squeeze out the water from
them….
Keep them in a serving plate now; Put dahi on them, make sure
dahi covers all the vadas served… Put Tamarind & green chilli chutney on
it…
Sprinkle a pinch of red chilli powder and coriander powder….
And get a bite of that super delicious Dahi Vada…..😍😋
